Did you know?

As we travel from one Major League Baseball stadium to the next, we are really enjoying how each stadium is completely different and has its own character, history, and architecture. Here are a few of the unusual facts about Chase Field Stadium that we found especially interesting.

Facts Unique to
Chase Field Stadium

“Chase Field is one of the most unique venues in baseball with a retractable roof, several marquee food items, and a pool and hot tub right near the outfield wall. The D-backs were the first MLB team to have a pool in their stadium! Go D-backs!”

-Quote from Kyle Payne (Social Media Coordinator)

Giving Back.

Established in 1997, before the Diamondbacks ever played a Major League game, the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation was established. The mission of the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation is to support three main areas of need: homelessness, indigent healthcare, and children’s programs of all types, including education and youth baseball field development.

To date, the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation have made charitable contributions totaling more than $41 million to non-profit organizations from across Arizona. In addition, more than $10 million in tickets and autographed merchandise has been donated to non-profits, schools, auctions, and events.

Our Reflections on the Game

Advice and reflections from the Glanville Team

Thoughts from James

Arizona Diamondbacks play at Chase Field. Since this was our first stadium I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was hot and I expected that because it was Arizona. I suggest you sit in the shade. Chase Field isn’t too big so you can see the players and you feel like you are right in the game.James

Christie’s Thoughts

Arizona Diamondbacks Chase Field is located in a great location downtown and easy to walk to from many great hotels nearby. Ease of walking and entering Chase Field was fantastic! The bathrooms were not the greatest. I found a yummy Greek salad for lunch that was refreshing on a hot day and a nice change from hot dogs!Christie
