So you all might think that baseball is ALL American. Well, I can tell you that it is alive and well in Canada! There is only one Canadian team in Major League Baseball now, but there used to be the Montreal Expos too. Toronto is in the Province of Ontario and we thought that Rogers Centre was great. It was a blue-sky day so the roof was rolled back. You can see the CN Tower (Canadian National Tower) from everywhere in the stadium. I learned that In 1995, the CN Tower was declared one of the modern Seven Wonders of the World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. But let’s get back to baseball. The Rogers Centre had the first retractable roof. This was an awesome stadium and great seats everywhere. My great cousin Michael and his friend Kent joined us so we had an extra fun time!James
Baseball and cold Canadian beer – now what could be better? James is right, it was bluebird day for baseball and the view of CN tower in the back drop. Having Cousin Michael and Kent with us for their first ever MLB game added to the adventure. Since we are baseball gurus we enjoyed teaching the game of baseball and all the “special” things that can and do happen during a game.Christie
