I am using this map as part of a fourth grade social studies unit on the Great Lakes. It goes great with the book Paddle to the Sea by Holling Clancy Holling in which a model canoe with a small wooden Indian spends years drifting through the lakes and out to sea. I am using the map to label all of the places the canoe passes. The kids just love it!
