We live in Indiana -very flat country. My 16-year old grandson was curious about the Appalachian Trail. This map so clearly shows how it goes thru so many states, and he was quite excited to get it for Christmas.
I placed my order February 21. Today is March 16 and I still have not received it. Called the company and their voicemail says to send an email. Have sent 3 emails and no response. If I don’t receive it in 2 days, it will be too late and I will no longer need it.
I purchased two copies so our family can follow my grandson’s upcoming hike. He hasn’t started yet, but the map appears perfect for our needs. It’s small enough to tape to the side of a shelf, yet there is space enough to note his check- ins.
the map is very clear with much information.
I just wanted something to put on the wall that would allow me to chart progress from week to week. I am sure this will do it. it has many of the primary Gaps, road crossings, trail towns, along the way. Fontana Dam which is 160 miles up from Springer are shown about 3 inches apart with a number of other landmarks in between.
